JAMMU, May 19: The students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, Bari Brahmana brought laurels to the School by winning Under-14 and Under-17 girls Kho-Kho by defeating Govt. High School, Birpur and Govt High School, Khada-Madana respectively in the Inter-School tournaments of Purmandal zone.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports at the grounds of Govt Hr Sec .School, Smailpur, Bari Brahmana.
HPS team of Under-17 girls comprised of Deepshikha, Priya, Neha, Rumani, Shivani Manhas, Shreya, Babita, Preeti and Shriya. The team of HPS defeated Govt High School, Khada-Madana, to clinch the title.
The HPS team of Under-14 girls Kho-Kho defeated Govt High School, Birpur to win the title. The players were Yasmeen, Chetna, Sangeeta, Shivani Bhagat, Neha, Aarushi, Roshni, Mansi, Tania and Shaidu Bibi.
The tournament was organized under the supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officer, Purmandal.
