SRINAGAR, Oct 29: Hussaini Sports Club organised one day trekking expedition for girls at Gulmarg, here today.
About 32 girls participated in the event which was flagged off by Dy Director Recreation Tourism, Adeel from TRC Srinagar. Girls trekked the Kongdoori Peak Phase-I and finished their trekking at Gulmarg Golf Club.
The chief guest CEO GDA, Inam-Ul-Haq distributed certificates among the participants. Assistant Director Tourism Gulmarg, Javeed-Ul-Rehman, Manager JKTDC, Riyaz Ahmad, SDPO Gulmarg Hilal Khaliq, SHO Gulmarg, Shahnawaz Khan, senior members JKHSC, Riyaz Wani, Vilayat Hussain and Zahid Hussain were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest encouraged participants for completing trekking successfully and also encouraged the organisers for promoting such activities. We are organising Sports Conference in next month, said Secretary Ahsan Ali while presenting vote of thanks.
The event was sponsored by Department of Tourism Kashmir.
