POONCH, Nov 21: Inter District Division Level Boxing competition commenced here at Poonch with great pomp and show organised by the Department of Youth services and Sports District Poonch.
There were 130 girls and boys of Under 14, 17 and 19 age groups from six districts of Jammu Division who took part in this competition which was held under the supervision of Mohd Qasim District Youth Services and Sports Officer Poonch.
Chief guest of the occasion was Deputy Commissioner Poonch Yasin Mohammad Choudhary. He gave his best wishes to all the participants and advised them to play games with the true spirit of sportsmanship. All bouts are held under the technical supervision of Mushtaq Ahmed JKSC Boxing coach Dalbir Singh Jamwal PET Samba, William Kapoor PET Youth Hostel Nagrota, Rajinder Singh PET, Sandeep Singh Chib Rek District Ramban. Parampreet Singh Senior Boxer, Gourav Sharma Senior Boxer Rohit Sharma Khelo India Poonch centre boxing instructor. The winners of this competition will represent the Jammu Division in the UT level boxing competition.
