SAMBA, Mar 29: In a thrilling semi-final of the 1st International Cricket Cup 2025, International Cricket Club (ICC) Jammu emerged victorious over Patel Cricket Club by 4 wickets. The match, held at the Badhori Cricket Ground in Samba district, saw ICC Jammu chase down a target of 117 runs in just 17.2 overs, securing their place in the final.
Patel Cricket Club, led by captain Sachin, won the toss and opted to bat first. The team managed to set a target of 116 runs in their allotted 20 overs. Vikas was the top scorer for Patel Cricket Club, playing a brilliant knock of 56 runs, which included 4 boundaries and 3 sixes. Other notable contributions came from Sachin (19), Lucky (16) and Rajeshwar (9). In the bowling department, Amit picked up 3 wickets, while Rajeshwar and Sachin took 2 and 1 wicket, respectively.
In reply, Rajeev Sharma (38 runs off 18 balls), Pawan (25 runs off 26 balls) and Sonu (20 runs off 16 balls) guided International Cricket Club Jammu to victory. Parshotam shone with the ball, by taking 3 wickets, supported by Rajeev Sharma and Sonu, who took 2 wickets each. Rajeev Sharma was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
