ICC smashes SCC to enter semis of 3rd Budding Cricket Tourney

JAMMU, Jan 5: Ishar Cricket Club (ICC) smashed Star Cricket Club (SCC) by a huge margin of 96 runs to enter the semifinal stage of the ongoing 3rd Budding Cricket Tourney, being organized by Jammu Tawi Cricket Club at GGM Science College Hostel ground, here.
Batting first, ICC scored 179 runs for the lost of 4 wickets. Pavit Singh was the top scorer with 48 runs in 43 balls, while as Dipesh made 37 runs in 34 balls and Muneeb contributed 33 runs.
For SCC side, Ashish, Harman and Anmol Bhan shared one wicket each.
In reply, SCC failed to chase the target and bundled out at paltry 83 runs for the loss of 6 wickets. Balwinder scored 39 runs in 52 balls, whileas Ashish made 8 runs in 10 balls.
For ICC side, Karmanya was the pick of the bowler with 2 wickets, whileas Muneeb, Aniket and Pavit took one wicket each.
Pavit Singh of Ishar Cricket Club (ICC) was declared as man of the match.
The match was officiated by Sachin and Surinder as umpires, while as Anmol maintained the scorecard.
In tomorrow fixture, Mayank Goswami Cricket Academy (MGCA) will clash with RN Chopra Cricket Academy and JKP (junior) will take on Country Cricket Club.
