JAMMU, Aug 1: Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, Regional Office Jammu felicitated Tabla Maestro, Rajinder Raina for his life-time contribution to the development of this great art in the ongoing Tabla Celebrations at KL Saigal Hall.
The honours were done by the Regional Director of ICCR Jammu, Balwant Thakur and Vachaspati Sharma, eminent musician and former Principal Institute of Music and Fine Arts, Jammu.
While speaking, Balwant Thakur said that the ICCR wished to salute all legendary figures in the fieled of performing arts who have given a life-time in the devotion of nurturing performing arts traditions in the region.
He also threw light on the life of Rajinder Raina and also highlighted his achievements.
