JAMMU, Aug 21: International Daily Rising School (IDRS) today organized a workshop on ‘Implementation of NEP- Awareness, Orientation, Challenges and Responses’ for faculty to understand the challenges of New Education Policy (NEP-2020) and creative and innovative Teaching methodology besides connective system of learning under the banner of SIETIIE Innovation and Research International Organisation, here.
Seminar and workshop was one of its kind arranged exclusively for faculty wherein more than 40 teachers and 11 Principals from Jammu, Kathua, Samba and Udhampur participated.
The event started with lighting of the lamp, followed by Ganesh Vandana and welcome song presented by the students of the IDRS.
Dr Atul Hans, Director Academics IDRS introduced the guests and delivered a keynote address and also briefed the guests that in a very short span of time School has left no stone unturned whether to prove itself in academics, activities or in infrastructure.
Prabhakar Singh, founder president, an eminent professional educationist from Uttar Pradesh was the chief guest of the event. Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest highlighted the changes brought about in the educational scenario in India from the Gurukul System to the British period and the post-independence era. He briefed on the vision of the NEP-2020 and summarized salient features on higher education, professional education and about the challenges and role of NEP.
Later, the chief guest said that IDRS Jammu will perform the duties of a Nodal centre at North India level and all the resources of national level and international level will be provided to the School.
Supinder Kaur, the chairperson of IDRS appreciated everyone on successful completion of workshop whereas, Raghav Gupta, MD IDRS presented vote of thanks.
