JAMMU, Oct 23: IECS Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, Domana organized workshop on “Java Programming & Its Applications” by experts from HCL Technologies for the students of Computer Sciences and Information Technology Departments.
Vijay Dutta, Centre Manager, CAD Centre along with team of experts were resource persons for the workshop who apprised students about the latest version of the software and its application followed by the practical session. The main agenda of this workshop is to create awareness among the students about the latest changes in CAD/ CAM / CAE field and their role in the respective engineering.
Prof. K.G. Gupta, Principal IECS Polytechnic appreciated the efforts of Training & Placement Cell for conducting these workshops.
Speaking on the occasion, Er. Ajay Singh Jamwal, Dean Administration asserted that such kind of workshop provides maximum technical exposure to polytechnic students, making them more compatible with today’s industrial requirement.
Er HN Bhat, HoD Mechanical Engineering Department and Er. Amit Sharma, HoD Computer Sciences Engineering Department were also present.
