JAMMU, Nov 8: Rakesh Sharma, IG BSF Jammu Frontier honored choreographer Akash Dogra for his outstanding performances at National Level Cultural Dance Competition.
A three day National level festival was organized by BSF at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in which all the frontiers of BSF including Punjab, South and North Bengal, Tripura, Jammu, Mizoram, Indore, Bangalore, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Shillong and Kashmir participated.
Aakash Dogra had prepared Jammu Frontier to perform in the cultural programmes. Head Quarters Jammu Frontier team was adjudged first among all the participating frontier teams of BSF Infact it was show stopper performance of Jammu Frontier team for which choreographer Aakash Dogra was awarded with the cash prize of Rs 10,000. He thanked IG Jammu Frontier, Rakesh Sharma, First Lady BSF Pratibha Sharma and Principal Dr SK Shukla.
Speaking on the occasion, IG BSF said that Aakash is a dedicated and sincere teacher and his contribution in the cultural programmes of School as well as Jammu Frontier is highly appreciable.
