JAMMU, May 6: An induction program for 1st year BEd students of January 2014 session was organized today by IGNOU Study Centre (1204P) in Government College of Education, Canal Road, near here.
Principal of the college, Prof Dr Kaushal Smotra, inaugurated the program and interacted with the students.
Prof CL Shivgotra, the Programme Incharge, discussed in length the course structure and motivated the students for attending the PCP with full enthusiasm, discipline and positive attitude.
Moreover, details about the counseling sessions beginning from May 7, 2014 and onwards were also given to the students. They were asked to come in routine in the counseling sessions and get all possible academic guidance by the Academic Counselors.
Prof Ashu Jolly, Prof Deep Bangotra, Prof Anil Verma and other faculty members of the college along with the students were present on the occasion.
