JAMMU, Jan 18: Three skaters of Indian Hawks Roller Skating Club (IHRSC) emerged National champions in recently concluded CBSE National Championship held at Shalom Hills International School, Gurugram.
Puneesh Puri was adjudged unchallengeable ‘National Champion’ after he clinched two straight Gold medals in under 12 years category, while Udhay Narayan Sharma and Tamanna Saini also clinched the title by winning one Gold and one Silver in under-16 and under -14 years categories respectively.
The National Champions Puneesh, Tamanna Saini and Udhay Narayan Sharma, Sanvi Grover and Tabish from IHRSC also played impressive games in their respective categories viz under 14 and under 9.
The patron of IHRSC Ashok Gandotra applauded the extraordinary achievement of the skaters and asked them to show consistency in the game.
