IkkJutt Jammu forms district level committees in Jammu province

JAMMU, May 17: IkkJutt Jammu today formed District Executive Committees in all the 10 Districts of Jammu Province.
These Districts include Udhampur; Reasi; Ramban; Kishtwar; Doda; Rajouri; Poonch; Kathua Urban; Kathua Sub Urban; Jammu Urban, Jammu Sub Urban; Jammu Central; Samba. Each District Committee comprises of 101 Executive Members while District Kathua and Jammu has 151 members in each of its sub divisions.
Ankur Sharma, Chairman IkkJutt Jammu said that given the overwhelming response in favour of IkkJutt Jammu and failure of mainstream political parties in redressing Jammu’s grievances, they decided to expand the organisation right up to the grass roots level in order to make their fight for Jammu more effective.
“The first responsibility of IkkJutt’s District Level Teams will be to form 31 member Tehsil Committees in all Tehsils of respective Districts. The next responsibility of District and Tehsil Level Commitees will be to form 21 member Panchayat Committees at all the Panchayats of their respective Districts. This shall be followed with formation of 11 member Polling Booth Committees at all Polling Booths of the Districts,” he elaborated.
Office bearers of various Committees include; President, Vice Presidents (3), General Secretary (Organisation), General Secretary (General), Media/Publicity Secretary, Social Media/ I.T Secretary, Secretaries (4), Spokespersons (5), Treasurer and an Advisory Council.
Office bearers will be selected/elected only after formation of teams at Tehsil and Panchayat Levels. Office bearers will be selected on the basis of a fully transparent criteria in order to check any kind of favouritism. To ensure that only merit and hard work should prevail for getting a post in IkkJutt Jammu, the organisation has prescribed the criteria.
District Executive Committee Members will vote for District President and other office bearers while Tehsil Executive Members will vote to choose Tehsil President and other office bearers.
