JAMMU, Oct 27: Toppling their rivals convincingly in the cadet girls’ event, talented peddler Iknoor and Suhani sailed into next round of the 37th Stag J&K State and Inter-District Table Tennis Championship, being organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Table Tennis Championship at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here.
Iknoor drubbed Mehak by (2-1), while Suhani got better of Mehak Koul also by (2-1).
Earlier, in Sub Junior girls, Suhani Singh beat Ashmeet Kour by (2-0), Bhavya defeated Iknoor by (2-1) and Archita Kesar trounced Meghna Jain by (3-2), while in Sub Junior boys, Koutsav beat Aditya by (2-0), Ansh outplayed Jai by (2-0), Ashray prevailed over Utkarsh by (2-0), Sudansh outclassed Vishav by (2-0) and Zaid Rouf Shah got better of Ceyal Jain by (2-0).
The matches were officiated by S Narinder Singh, Sandy, Narinder Kour SAI coach and Satish Gupta.
