JAMMU, Jan 1: Akhnoor police busted illicit liquor manufacturing unit with the arrest of four persons.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Akhnoor Police Station conducted raid in village Panokhar Goshan and busted illicit liquor manufacturing den. Police team recovered utensils used for preparing liquor and also seized 10 litres of distilled liquor and also destroyed 60 litres of lahan.
During raid, police arrested four persons, who were found indulged in preparing and selling illicit liquor to the people.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Akhnoor Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Akhnoor Inspector Shiv Dev Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand and SP Rural Shivdeep Singh Jamwal.
