KATHUA, June 17: Nagri police smashed illicit liquor manufacturing unit and arrested one lady.
As per police spokesman, a team from Nagri Police Post led by SI Vikas Jasrotia conducted raid in Chak Draba area and arrested one lady along with 30 litres of illicit liquor. The arrested lady has been identified as Nima Devi, wife of Surjeet Kumar of Chak Draba Khan district Kathua.
Police team also recovered and destroyed 300 litres of lahan and illicit liquor manufacturing unit.
A case under FIR Number 212/18 under Section 48-E Excise Act has been registered and investigation started.
