BHADERWAH, July 28: Forest Department today seized illicit timber and cutter machine.
As per official spokesman, Conservator Chenab Circle TB Singh along with Forest Control Room party comprising Haroon Khan Forrester, Shafquat Baba Forester and other staff conducted raids in Sungli area, here. Deputy Director FPF Doda unit and his team also accompanied the Conservator.
“130 cft of sawn timber and a cutter machine were seized from the shed of Sajid Wani, son of late Mehmood Wani of Sungli as he failed to produce valid document of the seized timber and the cutter machine”, he added.
Conservator also inspected saw mills and private timber sale Depots. He issued strict instructions to band saw operators to follow laws and rules of the Government and refrain from any unlawful activity.
