JAMMU, Feb 22: Former Cabinet Minister and senior BJP leader, Abdul Ghani Kohli has claimed that he is not at all a beneficiary of land allotted under Roshni Act in J&K.
In a press statement issued here today, Kohli welcomed the decision of the J&K High Court with regard to Forest and State land encroachers as appeared in the local media on February 21. While appreciating the decision of the double-bench headed by the Chief Justice J&K High Court, BJP leader stated that previously also on a similar order of the High Court, a joint verification by the Revenue and Forest department officials was conducted wherein it was revealed that no forest land has been encroached by him.
Kohli further clarified that ‘he is not at all a beneficiary’ of lands allotted under the Roshni Act.
