Sir,
Well !- the Central Government has implemented the 7th Pay Commission recommendations regarding the hike in the salary of the Central Govt Employees and pensioners w.e.f January 1, 2016.
Besides, the J&K State Govt has also hiked the salaries and pension etc of the legislators and ministers. In addition to it some of our neighbouring states have also implemented the 7th Pay Commission recommendation in favour of their respective Govt Employees and Pensioners. This all is a wel come step taken by the Govt(s) keeping in view the present inflationary situations and the present time needs. In this context, it is submitted that the State Govt employees, pensioners and family pensioners also deserve hike in the pay and pension. In addition, it is submitted that the existing Medical Allowance (MA) of Rs 300 may kindly be enhanced to Rs 2000 for pensioners and Rs 1500 for Govt employees keeping in view the doctors high consultation fee, present time ailments and high cost of medicine and tests etc.
Therefore, in view of the above submissions, a fervent plea is made to the Chief Minister, Finance Minister J&K State to kindly implement the 7th Pay Commission recommendations in toto/at par with the Central Govt Employees and Pensioners in favour of the State-Govt Employees and Pensioners.
