JAMMU, Feb 13: Impression World Pre School, Sainik Colony, Jammu, celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great excitement, underlining the importance of sports in early childhood development. The event’s theme, “Race at Your Own Pace,” highlighted the uniqueness of each child, focusing on the development of essential skills like motor coordination, balance and hand-eye coordination.
The event was graced by chief guest Khalid Jahangir, MD JKTPO, while dignitaries were Rajat Vohra and Umesh Rekhi. They were warmly welcomed by Principal Shivani Sharma. In his address, Khalid Jahangir applauded the school’s initiative to nurture young minds and emphasized the significant role of preschools in laying the foundation for future learning.
Children from Pre-Nursery, Nursery, Junior KG and Senior KG participated in various races, demonstrating their enthusiasm and discipline. Winners from both the student and parent categories were awarded mementos and medals, celebrating their sportsmanship and effort. The event concluded with a thank-you note from Principal Shivani Sharma.
