MENDHAR, Apr 25: Imroz Club Harni defeated Sakimadan Club by 7 points (37-30) in the summit clash and lifted the title trophy of the Shahidi Diwas Kabaddi Tournament, organized by the Army under the aegis of Ace of Spades Division at OP Hill Stadium, here.
Earlier, the payers of both the teams displayed extraordinary Kabaddi skills, however, it were the players of Imroz Club Harni who held their nerves better in a closely contested final to lift the title.
This weeklong tournament concluded with an impressive, well attended and colourful valedictory function at the said venue today.
On the valedictory function, Deputy Commander 120 BG brigade, Col Mohit Seth was the chief guest, who distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up teams in presence of SDPO Mendhar, Shared Nayeem.
Apart from trophies and other prizes kits were also distributed among the players on the occasion.
