In-situ promotion granted to 47 security personnel

JAMMU, Jan 24: Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Security, L&O, HG, J&K Muneer Ahmad Khan granted in-situ promotion to 47 security personnel.
The Departmental Promotion Committee constituted by Muneer Ahmad Khan met today and cleared in-situ promotions to 47 security personnel from various subordinate units of security wing which includes 19 HCs, 24 SgCts and 4 Constables.
While issuing the promotion order, Muneer Ahmad Khan impressed upon the promoted officials to work with dedication and devotion for the betterment and service of society in general and Police Department in particular.
The DPC comprises of Suneel Raj Staff Officer, SHQ, Laeeq Ahmad Dar CPO, SHQ, SI (S) Altaf Hussain, SO Establishment, SHQ and AA Mehraj-ud-Din, Incharge Accounts Section, SHQ.
