Independent candidate holds first poll rally

KARGIL, Apr 25: Independent candidate for -4 Ladakh Parliamentary Constituency backed by Islamia School Kargil with the active support of Anjuman Sahab Zaman Tai Suru, Buddhist Association Kargil and National Conference Unit Kargil Suru, Aga Syed Kazim Mussavi Sabri today said that he will work for communal harmony in the region, which is an important issue in Ladakh.
Addressing his first election rally at Public Park Kargil after Friday prayers, he said opening of one Central University in Ladakh will be among his priorities, assured establishment of Kargil scouts for eradication of unemployment or recruitment from both Leh and Kargil districts in Ladakh scouts, strive for opening of Kargil -Skardu, Turtuk-Khapula and Nimu-Darcha road.
He said that he will also work for opening of Zojila Tunnel at the earliest, extension work of Kargil Airport and operating of civil air service from Kargil to other parts and work for solving the common issues of the people of both districts in the region.
Aga Syed Sabri said that Anjuman Imamia Leh and Anjuman Moneen-ul-Islam Leh has also extended their full support to him. The rally among others was addressed Aga Syed Abas Rizvi, NC Councilor and member Anjuman Sahab Zaman Tai Suru, Aga Syed Abul Hassan, prominent citizen, Samphal president Buddhist Association Kargil, Sheikh Asgar Ali Zakiri, member ISK, Haji Mohammed Hanifa Jan, Councilor, LAHDC, Kargil, Ghulam Abass Paskhum, Kachoo, Ahmad Ali Khan former CEC, LAHDC, Kargil , Hassan Khan MP and others.
