India, NZ cricketers land in Vizag for first T20 tie

VISAKHAPATNAM, Sept 5:
The Indian and New Zealand cricket teams arrived here today for the first Twenty20 international, which will see the comeback of Yuvraj Singh after battling cancer.
The teams landed here in a special chartered flight from Bangalore.
With Yuvraj returning to field, the craze for tickets has gone up significantly with 10,000 of tickets being already sold out within an hour after the sales were opened yesterday.
In all, 17,000-odd tickets are available for general public at the 27,000 capacity Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ADA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in the outskirts of the coastal city.
The teams will hit the ground tomorrow for net practice.
While the Kiwis will practice from 10 AM to 1 PM tomorrow and from 2 Pm to 5 PM on Friday, the Indians will hit the net from 2 PM to 5 PM and 10 AM to 1 PM, respectively, on two consecutive days before the match, they said. (PTI)
