Indian differently-abled cricket team defeats Nepal by 109 runs

JAMMU, Dec 26: In the inaugural match of the Indian Oil Cup, India defeated Nepal in the International Divyang Cricket Series organized by the Divyang Cricket Control Board of India at the Railway Cricket Stadium in Agra Cantt today.
Indian Cricket Team captain Sayed Shah Aziz decided to bat first after winning the toss and gave a target of 198 runs to Nepal. He scored 97* runs in 70 balls and Abhinandan scored 73* runs in 45 balls. In reply, Nepal managed to score only 89 runs and lost the match by 109 runs. For Nepal, Anuresh Pasi played the highest innings of 22 runs in 14 balls. On behalf of the Indian Cricket Team, Shahul Hameed took 5 wickets for 18 runs in 4 overs, Ajeet Raj from Akhnoor Jammu took 2 wickets in 2 overs and Sayed Shah Aziz took 1 wicket in 2 overs by giving only 4 runs.
The tournament was inaugurated by Union Health Minister, Prof SP Singh Baghel who also handed over the man of the match trophy to Sayed Shah Aziz for his best all round performance. The dignitaries of Divyang Cricket Control Board of India including Sham Singh Langeh, Chairman Divyang Cricket Team J&K were also present there.
