Induction Session held in JU

JAMMU, July 31: The Business School, University of Jammu today organized an induction session for the batch of MBA students, here.
The formal function was attended by representatives from the Corporate World including Arvind Mattoo, founder DMZCubes.inc based in Miami, Florida, USA, who is also the alumnus of The Business School and Maneesha Negi, Product Manager, Voice Bharti Airtel who is an alumnus of IIM Bangalore.
In their interaction with the students of TBS, the corporate leaders reiterated that the students need to dream big and need to set goals for their future.
They emphasized the need to look for exposure and experience with the corporate world in addition to their classroom learning.
Ms Negi in her interaction with the students stressed on the need for keeping our eyes and ears open to the changes in the outside world that may affect our career.
Mr Mattoo also urged the students to embrace new technology for furthering their growth in the business world.
At the outset, Prof. Versha Mehta, Director, The Business School formally welcomed the corporate guests and the students to the induction function.
In her address, she encouraged the students to make the most of the two years of their stay in The Business School.
Prof. B.C. Sharma shared his experiences and promised to continue the long and healthy association with them.
Faculty members present on the function included Prof Alka Sharma, Prof. Sameer Gupta, Prof. Parikshat S. Manhas, Prof. Vinay Chauhan, Dr. Rajinder Mishra, Dr.  Amisha Gupta, Dr. Komal Nagar, Dr. Anil Gupta, Dr. Rachna Gupta, Ms Saloni Devi and Ms Farah Choudhary.
