Srinagar, Apr 28: Police today said an infant died while another infant was injured in a road accident in Awantipora area of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district this afternoon.
A police spokesman said an accident took place between a Tipper bearing registration number JK03C-0865 and a Maruti car bearing registration number JK01A-6735 along National Highway at Barsoo in Awantipora, resulting in injuries to two infants.
“The injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment where one of the infant succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
