JAMMU, July 26: Development of necessary infrastructure and allied facilities is the basic ‘mantra’ to produce quality sportspersons and good athletes. For that matter, various schemes initiated by the State Government with regard to construction of Sports Stadia is a step forward in that direction.
This was expressed by Naveen Aggarwal, Director General Youth Services and Sports while addressing a large gathering during his visit to Bhalwal and Khour to identify the land for construction of stadiums.
Mr Aggarwal, accompanied by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu Tirath Ram was warmly received by MLA Raipur Domana, Bodh Raj alongwith with Sarpanchs and Panchs during his visit, wherein they have identified 25 kanals of land at Bhalwal and 50 kanals at Khour.
The DG Sports has directed the DYSSO Jammu to put up the cases of identification of land at an earliest so that the construction work is initiated soon.
