Inspector Bimal Indu Sharma currently posted in Railways (GRP) has again brought laurels to J&K by winning gold medal in National Men’s Classic Bench Press Championship 2023 held at Bengaluru. Previously he became the nation’s pride by winning the gold medal in Commonwealth Powerlifting Championship 2019 held in Newfoundland, Canada while being SHO Nowabad. Further he is selected in the Indian team to participate in the World Championship Bench-Press Powerlifting team for next year.
