JAMMU, Mar 29: Former Deputy Chief Minister & senior BJP leader, Kavinder Gupta said that every single BJP leader will have to take responsibility for at least one polling booth and work for it.
While addressing a well attended meeting of office bearers of BJP from Gandhi Nagar Constituency, he said that “the 2019 elections are not just to ensure BJP’s victory and to bring back Narendra Modi as Prime Minister, but is also the last farewell to those who indulge in dynastic politics, racism and appeasement politics,” .
Kavinder Gupta, while exhorting the workers to ensure landslide victory in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in 2019 for the party, said this can only be achieved if we send all the six contesting BJP candidates from Jammu and Kashmir. He stressed that every worker of BJP to start door to door campaigning and make public aware about the false propaganda of opposition parties in the Constituency.
He said “we have to work hard and ensure the victory of Jugal Kishore Sharma once again from Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency and strengthen the hands of Narendra Modi.
Gupta said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi has kept his promise. He has created pride among people of India, as he said five years back. He further said, “We must be grateful that there is at least a national leader of Modi’s calibre who is interested in improving India. Looking at last fiver years, I feel that having a leader who is focussed on nation, focussed on discipline, cleanliness, national security, foreign policy and economic progress is a good thing. Continuity of Modi Government would be a prosperity for nation “, he asserted.
Gupta also stressed for reaching out to public with the major developmental works executed in the respective areas during last five years. He praised Jugal for his sincere efforts for the major projects such as AIIMS, IIT, IIM, Expansion /face-lifting of Jammu Airport, face-lifting of Jammu Railway Station, widening of Jammu -Poonch road besides many other projects which have been sanctioned in his tenure to whole of Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary Constituency.
Others who spoke on the occasion were Rajeev Charak, State vice president, Brig.(retd) Anil Gupta, Baldev Billowria, district president, Ankush Gupta, Mandal general secretary, Gandhi Nagar and Harbans Choudhary.
All the Party cadres stressed for the involvement of every booth level worker in the campaigning with the active involvement Morcha teams in Gandhi Nagar Constituency. All the BJP office bearers resolved to ensure the maximum lead from Gandhi Nagar Constituency.
In the meeting Vinay Gupta district vice president was given the responsibility of election incharge for 2019 Parliamentary elections for Gandhi Nagar.
