SAMBA, Mar 8: Arvind Ghildiyal, Commandant 9 Bn BSF, Samba inaugurated the Inter Bn Frontier Level Basketball Competition in the presence of Senior Officers of BSF and a big gathering of players, here today.
9 Battalion BSF (The Nidar Nine) deployed on Indo-Pak border in Samba sector which witnessed heavy shelling and firing across the border by Pakistan in recent past is organizing this event, which will conclude on March 10, 2016.
A total 15 teams of Frontier Jammu are participating in the Competition.
Meanwhile, in the opening match, 97 Bn BSF defeated 80 Bn BSF by 11 points.
