Inter-class rhyme, group song competitions held

JAMMU, Aug 10: JK Montessorie British School and its affiliated Unit JK Little Millennium International School organized inter-class rhyme and group song competitions, in which students from class LKG to class Ist took part.
In rhyme competition, students recited a wide range of poems by well known poets which reflected the concern of the children for freedom fighters like Subash Chander Bose, Mahatama Gandhi, Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru, Bhagat Singh and many more.
In inter-class group song competition, students participated with utmost gusto and spirit of patriotism really came true. The students were full of zeal and gave their melodious presentation.
The judgment was done by Vice Principal Geeta Dixit on the basis of expression, pronunciation and rhythm.
From class LKG, Shiv Kalsi got first position, Rudar Sangloo secured second position and Shivansh Parihar clinched third position. From class UKG, Gunveer Singh secured first place and Bhavya Sharma got second position. From class Ist, Rachit Kapoor got first position, Siddhant Aryan secured second place and Hargun Kour claimed third position.
Managing Director Sanjeev Gupta and Director Academics Rajni Gupta said that these competitions gave boost to the students’ confidence and help them to develop strong personality.
Rajni Gupta also highlighted the sacrifices of the martyrs for the motherland. She added that to take India to great heights its responsibility lies with students.
