Inter-Class ‘Spell-Throw’ competition held at JKMS

JAMMU, Dec 1: To give a different edge to learning, JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School, Jammu, organized series of events to encourage the students to show their talent in various activities.
The competition was organized for the Primary classes with great enthusiasm and zeal.
It covered vocabulary part including word meanings, spellings and dictation words of English language that improve the speaking skills of students.
The students were well prepared by their respective class teachers.
All the participants pronounced the words with confidence.
This competition was comprised of six rounds and the final rapid fire round took the competition to the climax by brain storming questions to check knowledge & wisdom of the students.
In the neck to neck competition, Class 2nd (Lotus) was adjudged the best class in the competition.
The competition was adjudged by Vice Principal of school Mrs. Geeta Dixit.
The competition was aimed at inculcating learning habits among students and all participants astonished every one with their performance.
Managing Director, Sanjeev Gupta and Director Academics, Rajni Gupta, Co-ordinator Vandana Gupta was also present on the occasion.
Rajni Gupta admired the teachers for efficiently preparing the students for their clear and fluent expression. She asserted that such kind of programmes help in removing hesitation among the students and strengthening their power of expression. She encouraged the winners with the gifts and mementoes.
