SRINAGAR, June 29: The Annual Inter College Judo tournament (men/women) 2019 concluded here at University of Kashmir, here today.
During the tournament various competitions were held in 8 weight categories for both boys and girls.
The event witnessed a huge participation particularly from female judokas. In men’s category overall winner trophy was clinched by Gandhi College Srinagar while as Runner Up trophy was awarded to Amar Singh College Srinagar.
In women’s category, Women’s College MA Road continued its dominance for fourth time in a row by clinching winner’s trophy while as Amar Singh College secured runners-up trophy.
Dr Nisar Ahmad, Coordinator, Directorate of Physical Education and Sports accompanied by Nadeem Ahmad Dar, Assistant Director distributed prizes and trophies among the medal winners.
Dr Nisar presented vote of thanks.
The tournament was conducted under the supervision of Surjeet Kour, Sports Assistant of the Directorate.
