JAMMU, Oct 9: Inter-Collegiate Table Tennis Men and Women Tournament started at Gymnasium Hall, University of Jammu, here.
Dr Daud Iqbal Baba, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu interacted with the players and wished them good luck.
In Women’s section, GCW Udhampur beat GCW Parade by (3-0), while in Men’s section, GMC Jammu drubbed GDC Paloura by (3-0), MIET Jammu defeated MAM College by (3-0) and GDC Ram Nagar GDC Kathua by (3-2).
The matches were officiated by Rekha Ratra, Sanjeev Sharma, Gourav Sharma, Ankit Sharma, Gourav Raina, under the overall supervision of Ravish Vaid (TT Coach), University of Jammu.
Prominent among others present on the occasion were Jatinder Singh, Dinesh Kumar, Sudesh Bhagat, Dr Balwinder Singh, Sanjeev Jamwal, Sr. Charanjeet Singh and Raj Kumar Bakshi.
