JAMMU, Oct 9: Inter-Collegiate Volleyball Tournament for women, being organized by Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu commenced at University Sports Stadium.
In the inaugural match, GCW Udhampur beats GDC Jindrah by 2-0 sets. The other three matches ended with walkovers.
Prof Avtar Singh Jasrotia, Director, Directorate of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu was the chief guest in the inaugural function of the tournament.
Dr Vinod Bakshi, Shikha, Inderjeet Singh, Ravish Vaid, Ramesh Magotra, Vikas Karlopia and Gagan Kumar were also present on the occasion.
The matches were officiated by the technical panel of experts including Manik Nargotra, Naresh Kumar, Amarjeet Singh, Mulkh Raj and Amit Sharma.
