JAMMU, Dec 3: Harpreet Singh toppled Samandeep Singh in the finals and lifted the table tennis singles title on the concluding day of the three days Inter-Departmental Sports Meet organised by Government College of Engineering and Technology (GCET).
In carrom, Kanav Bali and Ali won the boys doubles title by defeating Ankush and Rahul, whereas in girls double title, Juhi Jamwal and Neha Sharma trounced Shagun Sharma and Shromani Gupta.
In summit clash of boys badminton doubles, Anit Singh and Vikram thrashed Kanav Bali and Shail, whereas, in girls badminton doubles, Parul Jamwal and Urvi Singh trounced Shagun Sharma and Nishta Parihar.
In chess, Junaid Ahmed Shah thrashed Sourab Charak. In volleyball final, team of Mechanical Engineering Department emerged winner by outplaying Electrical Engineering Department team.
