REASI, Nov 27: Provincial level Inter-District Athletic Meet (AAG) was declared open at SMVD Sports Complex, here today.
The championship was organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports under the supervision of DYSS Swarn Singh. The matches were officiated by the technical panel of experts.
In field event (Shot Put) Lakhvir Bajjal of Kathua (Gold), Jaganjot Singh of Jammu (Silver) and Sahil Pathania (Bronze), in discus throw, Shaker Singh of Samba (Gold), Lakhvir Bajjal of Kathua (Silver) and Sulakshya Singh of Jammu (Bronze), in long jump, Gagan Joshi of Jammu (Gold), Lochan Subudhi of Kathua (Silver) and Sushil Kumar of Samba (Bronze).
In track event (800 metres) under-19 boys Ankush Sharma of Samba (Gold), Arjun Singh of Doda (Silver) and Abdul Shakoor of Udhampur (Bronze), while in 1500 meters, Rahul Sharma (Gold), Sanjay Kumar (Silver), and Arpan Singh (Bronze), in 3000 meters, Parshotam Singh of Kathua (Gold), Arjun Singh of Doda (Silver) and Vansh Sharma of Jammu (Bronze) and in 5000 meters, Parveen Kumar of Udhampur (Gold), Rakesh Singh of Kathua (Silver) and Ashok Kumar (Bronze).
In high jump, Elyas Ali of Kathua (Gold), Arjun Singh of Jammu (Silver) and Vinay Singh of Samba (Bronze).
