JAMMU, Sept 24: Organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports of District Jammu the Inter District Division Level Competition for AAG boys of Athletics Meet concluded today at University of Jammu.
The competition was organised under the patronage of Director General Youth Services and Sports J&K, Rajinder Singh Tara and under the guidance of Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu, Ved Parkash and under the overall supervision of DYSSO Jammu, Sunil Kumar Sharma along with in charge DYSSO Jammu, Harvinder Kour.
The chief guest was Director Physical Education Sports University of Jammu, Dawood Iqbal Baba along with Dr. Supriya, Assistant Registrar University of Jammu.
Approximately 284 Boys Athletes drawn from various districts of Jammu Division participated in this event.
I/C DYSSO Jammu, Harvinder Kour appreciated the first, second and third position holders by Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals and distributed certificates among them.
In Long Jump U-17 Boys, Sachin Chib from Jammu District won Gold, Usman Altaf from Ramban, Silver and Daleep Kumar from Samba, Bronze.
In Triple Jump U-17 Boys, Vishal from Jammu won Gold, Ankit from Samba, Silver and Saqub Mustafa from Poonch District, Bronze.
In Race of U-17 Boys (3000 m), Raghav Chib from Jammu won Gold, Chaiianya Sharma from Samba, Silver and Wahid Iqbal from Poonch, Bronze.
In Race of U-17 Boys (100 m), Jaskirat Singh from Jammu won Gold, Mukund Katal from Samba, Silver and Ifraz Ahmed Choudhary from Poonch, Bronze. In Discuss Throw U-17 Boys, Vishav Partap Singh from Jammu won Gold, Rubass Done from Kishtwar, Silver and Ajaz Ahmed Choudhary from Poonch, Bronze.
In Javelin Throw U-17 Boys, Gourav Sharma from Jammu won Gold, Rajveer Singh from Samba, Silver and Sarfroz Ahmed from Kathua, Bronze.
In Javelin Throw U-19 Boys, Vikramjeet Singh from Jammu won Gold, Amandeep Singh from Rajouri, Silver and Sohail Hussain Shah from Poonch, Bronze.
In Race of U-17 Boys (400 m), Nazakat Hussain from Poonch won Gold, Momin Miraz from Jammu, Silver and Neel Kamal from Samba, Bronze.
On Race of U-14 Boys (100 m), Yuvraj Singh from Jammu won Gold, Vau Nandan from Kathua, Silver and Saksham Dubeg from Udhampur, Bronze.
In Discus Throw U-14 Boys, Sumit Bhagat from Ramban won Gold, Mohd Hanees from Rajouri, Silver and Toseef Mahroof from Poonch, Bronze.
In Race U-14 Boys (400 m), Krishna Raina from Poonch won Gold, Rudraranjan from Jammu, Silver and Amit Singh from Doda, Bronze.
In Race U-14 Boys (200 m), Saksham Singh from Jammu won Gold, Waqar Ahmed from Poonch, Silver and Mriday Basofra from Kathua, Bronze.
In Race U-14 Boys (600 m), Mohd Alid from Poonch won Gold, Ayush Kumar from Jammu, Silver and Gourav Kumar from Kathua, Bronze.
