RAJOURI, Jan 1: An inter-district science exhibition under ‘Inspire Award’ scheme was organised at District Institute of Education and Training, here today.
Five teams of students from Rajouri and six from Poonch district took part in the exhibition and presented their science models.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Principal District Institute of Education and Training, Pardeep K Sharma in presence of senior heads of departments of the institute.
A team of judges including Sabzar Ahmed Wani from Science and Technology Department and HoDs of DIET, Ghanysham Sharma and Ashwani Sharma adjudged the models.
In the competition, two models were selected for further exhibition at the State level.
The Principal DIET interacted with the participating students and said that department of education holds such exhibitions at regular basis with an aim to provide a platform to the budding students to display their scientific temper.
