SAMBA, Nov 9: Inter District State Level Wrestling Tournament for all age groups for boys was held here today.
The tournament was organized by District Youth Services Samba. Five districts—Kathua, Samba, Jammu, Udhampur and Reasi participated in the tournament.
In U-14, Sukhwinder Singh of District Jammu bagged first position in 35 kg category, whereas in 38 kg category, Rohit Bhagat of District Jammu emerged winner, in 41 kg category, Jasvinder of District Kathua clinched first position, in 44 kg category, Mohinder Kumar of District Reasi clinched first position, in 48 kg category, Manjeet Singh of District Udhampur bagged first position, in 52 kg category, Sarthak of District Samba bagged first position, in 57 kg category, Shujal Singh of District Samba bagged first position and in 62 kg category, Mintu Khajuria of District Samba clinched first position.
In U-17, Ankush Manhas of District Jammu bagged first position in 45 kg category, in 48 kg category, Ajay Kumar of District Jammu clinched first position, in 51 kg category, Neef Ali of District Kathua bagged first position, in 55 kg category, Mohammad Saleem of District Kathua bagged first position, in 60 kg category, Mohammad Hussain of District Samba clinched first position, in 65 kg category, Vipan Kaith of District Jammu bagged first position, in 71 kg category, Bhag Ali of District Kathua emerged winner, in 80 kg category, Abdul Rehman of District Samba bagged first position, in 92 kg category, Haribansh of District Samba bagged first position and in 110 kg category, Lovekesh of District Samba bagged first position.
