JAMMU, Oct 25: The Inter District UT Level Gymnastics competition for Girls (AAG) concluded at the Gymnasium Hall, MA Stadium, here today. Hosted by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), District Jammu, this eagerly anticipated event saw the participation of 30 talented gymnasts from various schools across Jammu & Kashmir, showcasing their skills in both artistic and rhythmic gymnastics.
DYSSO Jammu, Sunil Kumar Sharma, along with I/C DYSSO Jammu Harvinder Kour, provided dedicated oversight, ensuring the competition ran smoothly and upheld the highest standards of sportsmanship. A team of experienced officials, including Neeru Jablia, Honey Mehra, Kamal Singh and Rajesh Bandral, among others, supervised the competition.
Young gymnasts competed passionately across categories. Rivka Bansal claimed the gold in the Artistic Gymnastics U-14 division, while Parul Rana and Riya Kotwal secured top spots in the U-17 and U-19 categories, respectively. In Rhythmic Gymnastics, Aditya Choudhary took home the gold in the U-14 category, with Muskaan Rana excelled in U-17 and Shuangi in U-19.
