JAMMU, Nov 20: Inter Division State Level Football and Hockey Competitions concluded at GGM Science College and at KK Hakku Stadium, here today.
Around 80 participants of both the Divisions of the State participated in both the sports disciplines.
The competitions were organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu under the patronage of Dr Saleem-ur-Rehman, Director General Youth Services and. The competitions were supervised by Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu, while Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu was the Organizing Secretary of the competitions. ZPEOs and other officials of the department were also present on the occasion.
In under-14 Football for boys at GGM Science College Jammu, joint team of participants of Kashmir Division and joint team of participants of Jammu Division remained winners as the competition ends in draw.
In under-19 Hockey (boys), Jammu Division beat Kashmir Division by 7-1 goals, whereas in girls’ category, Jammu Division defeated Kashmir Division by 5-0 goals.
In under-14 girls, Jammu Division beat Kashmir Division by 4-0 goals, whereas in boys’ category, Jammu Division and Kashmir Division remained winners as the competition ends in draw.
The matches were officiated by penal of experts of the Department of Youth services & Sports District Jammu.
