JAMMU, Aug 17: Inter House Tennis Championship finals were held on the main tennis court of the KC Public School, here today.
The event began with Principal Amarendra Mishra wishing the finalists good luck in their matches.
The first match in the senior boys’ category between Aryaman Wazir of Kashmir House and Tarun Mahajan of Poonch House was well contested. Aryaman clinched the title with a narrow margin.
In the senior girls’ category, Pawanpreet Kour of Kashmir House proved to be too good for her rival Osheen from Ladakh House.
In the junior boys’ category, Shivansh of Poonch House defeated Aakarsh of Kashmir House with a fairly good margin.
In the end of the event, Kashmir House emerged overall champion followed by Ladakh House as runners-up.
