SAMBA, Oct 19: The Inter-School Athletic Meet for the year 2012-13, under the age group of 14/17 years for boys and girls section concluded at Kehli Mandi Ground, here.
Mubarak Singh, Deputy Commissioner, Samba was the chief guest while Ashok Kumar Deputy Director, Youth Services and Sports Jammu was the guest of honour and Neelam Sethi, Additional District Development Commissioner was the special guest.
Large numbers of sports lover from locality along with prominent persons were present to bless the students.
The chief guest distributed the trophies and medals among the winners and runners up teams on the occasion.
The event was organized under the overall supervision of Jarpal Singh District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Samba.
The results:
100 Mtr Boys U/19
Amit Slathia, S N Hr Sec School Samba, Raj Kumar Raj Kumar GHSS Ghagwal and Ankush Kumar, KPHS Samba claimed the first three positions respectively
200 Mtr Boys U/14: Mukesh Kumar, AVP Samba, Gurjeet Kumar, AG HSS Vijaypur and Vishal Sharma, AHSS Gho-Brahmana claimed the first three spots respectively.
200 Mtr Girls: Anuuradha, GHSS Ghagwal, Renu Devi, GHSS Nud and Disha Slathia GHSS Vijaypur bagged the first three places respectively.
