Inter-school clay modelling contest held

JAMMU, Nov 12: New era Environmental High School today organized a clay modelling competition under the aegis of youth talent search (A Forum of Schools), here today.
Twenty two students of class 3rd from eleven different schools participated in the programme. The students displayed their skill of shaping the clay. They were asked to make four kitchen utensils.
The jury included Jasleen Singh Lecturer in the Sculpture Department, Ankush Kesar Printmaker and Artist Department of Painting, Institute of Music and Fine Arts, University of Jammu.
The first prize was won by Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial High School, while Lawrence Public High School Panjtirthi got second prize whereas Bikram Memorial High School clinched the third prize.
In the end, Maitree Jain Administrator congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts of the participants. She also thanked the judges for making the right judgement.
