JAMMU, Aug 17: The Inter-School competitions of Jammu district in the disciplines of hockey, basketball, tennis ball cricket (Under-19 boys and girls) and swimming (all age groups), which were earlier scheduled to be held on August 16 and 17, 2013, will now be held on August 19 and 20, 2013.
According to a handout issued here by the District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu, Tirath Ram, the competitions in football and handball Under-19 boys and girls have also been postponed and would now be held on August 22 and 23, 2013.
While the tennis ball cricket will be conducted at HSS Jammu Cantonment, the basketball trials/matches will be held at Mini Stadium, Parade Ground, Jammu.
The hockey matches will be held at KK Hakhu Astroturf Stadium, Jammu, while the swimming competition will be held at KC Public School, Jammu.
Meanwhile, the football Under-19 boys and handball Under-19 boys and girls will be held at GGM Science College Football Ground, Jammu and Dogra Ground Shastri Nagar, Jammu respectively.
