Inter-school debate competition organised

JAMMU, Aug 23: APS Akhnoor organized an inter-school Hindi debate competition for senior students on the topic, “Kya Sarkar Ko Aarakshan Pranali Khatam Kar Deni Chahiye Ya Nahi?”, here today.
The participating schools were APS Rakhmuthi, A Model School of Education, RMG International School and APS Akhnoor.
Principal APS Akhnoor ,Geeta Devi inaugurated the event with her inspiring words giving importance to Hindi language which should become the identity of India at global level. Dr Rakesh Chander, Vice-Principal also graced the occasion.
The event was a kaleidoscope of opinions, thoughts, ideas and perspectives that definitely enhanced the knowledge and understanding of the topic among students. All the contestants put forth their views and arguments skilfully and convincingly.
In the competition, APS Akhnoor bagged first prize, while APS Rakhmuthi got the second position.
Vineeta Dutta, Senior Coordinator DAV Akhnoor, Ravinder Chauhan, PGT (Hindi), KV-1 Akhnoor and Akashdeep Sharma, TGT (Skt), KV-2 Akhnoor were the members of the jury.
The vote of thanks was presented by Ashok Sharma, TGT (Hindi), APS Akhnoor.
