Inter School Debate ‘Transgress 2.0’ concludes

JAMMU, July 30: The 2nd edition of the Inter School English Debate ‘Transgress 2.0′ concluded after two days of intense debating on various contemporary issues. The event’s closing ceremony, held at KC Sports Club, featured Veenakshi Koul, Deputy Labour Commissioner of J&K, as the chief guest.
The ceremony began with members of the KC Paryavaran Sadan (Environmental Club of KC Public School) presenting a sapling to the chief guest. The final debate saw GD Goenka School and KC Public School vying for the top spot under the discerning eyes of judges Tej Pratap Singh, Ananya Mahajan, and Sahabdeep Singh.
Both teams delivered compelling arguments and rebuttals, captivating the audience. In the end, KC Public School emerged victorious, while GD Goenka School secured the runners-up position. The best debater’s award was jointly shared by Saanchi Sundeep of KC International School and Suhas Koul of KCPS.
Veenakshi Koul addressed the audience, praising the participants’ performance and encouraging their debating skills. She then awarded certificates and trophies to the finalists, marking the successful conclusion of ‘Transgress 2.0’.
