JAMMU, Nov 28: Inter School District Level Athletics Competition of all age groups for boys concluded today here at Athletic Ground, University of Jammu.
Around 300 participants of various institutions of District Jammu took part in the competition.
The competition was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu under the supervision by Madan Lal, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports Jammu. Chanchal Kour, DYSSO Jammu was the Organizing Secretary of competition.
Joint Organizing Secretary Jeet Singh, ZPEOs of District Jammu, officials of the department were also present at the venue.
Chanchal Kour, DYSSSO Jammu distributed medals among the winners in presence of all concerned officers and officials of the Department.
In U-19 400 meters Race final, Randeep of MHAC Nagbani, Prakul of BSF Paloura and Rohit of SRML bagged first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in 1500 meters final, Ajay Kumar of Shastri Memorial School, Mohammad Muneer of GHSS Jhajjar Kotli and
Rakesh Kumar of HSS Chakrohi clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-19 Long Jump final, Gaurav Verma of MHAC Nagbani, Gourav Singh of Sainik School Nagrota and Ajay Kumar of HSS Chakrohi clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in Triple Jump final, Roshan Singh of MHAC Nagbani, Pranav of APS Miran Sahib and Sourav Majumdar of GHSS Muthi clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-17 400 meters race final, Abrar Choudhary of MHSS Sunjwan, Mandeep Singh of MHAC Nagbani and Mohammad Ashique of BSF Paloura clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in Triple Jump, Mandeep Singh of MHAC Nagbani, Harsh Kumar of GHSS Muthi and Kanav of BSF Paloura secured first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-14 400 meters Race final, Prince Kapoor of Sainik School Nagrota, Mohit S Jamwal of MHAC Nagbani and Sweet Singh of APS Domana clinched first, second and third positions respectively, whereas in Triple Jump, Sagar Singh of MHAC Nagbani, Vishant Kumar of HSS Dakker and Amit Sharma of HS Sungal bagged first, second and third positions respectively and in Javelin Throw, Irfan Choudhary, Saurav of BSF Paloura and Sushant of APS Miran Sahib clinched first, second and third positions respectively.
In U-17 Long Jump final, Jai Bharat Yadav of Sainik School Nagrota, Aman Singh of APS Miran Sahib and Akhil Singh of MHAC Nagbani secured first, second and third positions respectively.
The matches were officiated by penal of experts of the Department of Youth Services and Sports District Jammu.
