JAMMU, Dec 13: Alexander Memorial Higher Secondary School hosted an inter-school patriotic dance competition under the aegis of Youth Talent Search (a forum of schools of Jammu) in the open air auditorium of the School, here today.
The event commenced with the welcome of the chief guest and other dignitaries by the School Principal Esther William.
Kuwrani Ritu Singh, Founder Chairperson, FICCI-FLO Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh was the chief guest at the function. She was accompanied by Rahul Thakur and Sumi Kumar, while Nandita Bajaj and Swati Dadheechi represented FICCI FLO JKL in the competition.
Sheetal Chalotra, dance teacher of DPS Jammu, Jasdeep Kaur, dance teacher Nagbani and Nrityashree Deepak Dutta, classical dance performer were the judges of the event, whereas SD Tarapuri Public School, Humanity Public School, New Era Environmental School, Play Way House HSS, Bhagwati Haqiqat Memorial Public School, JK Montessori School, Elite Public High School, and the host School participated.
The audience highly appreciated the performance of the participants and gave them a big hand after each item as a mark of appreciation and encouragement.
Humanity Public School, JK Montessori School and Elite Public High School stood 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively.
